Aim
The overall aim of Rights and Humanity’s work 2008-2012 is to contribute to peace, human development and a responsible approach to climate change by strengthening implementation of human rights and responsibilities at all levels of governance and society.
Overview
Our Strategic Work Plan, 2008-2012, falls into three interlinked programmes. These continue our focus on economic and social justice, health, HIV/AIDS and governance.
Cross Cutting Concerns
We integrate a multi-faith, multicultural approach within every aspect of our work. Also cross-cutting is the priority we give to realising women’s rights and empowerment and the rights to water and sanitation.
Multi-level approach:
Within these priorities, we are working with stakeholders at all levels of governance and society to promote concerted action around the common agenda of human rights and responsibilities.
