Building Bridges of Respect

As a multi-faith and multi-cultural organisation, Rights and Humanity is uniquely placed to build bridges of respect and cooperation between people of different faiths, cultures and political standpoints. Our experience in resolving deadlocks between governments on controversial issues provides a strong basis for mediating intergovernmental and multi-stakeholder consensus on solutions.

We have a particular emphasis on facilitating Islamic/Western understanding and cooperation and are bringing our experience to bear on building bridges of understanding in the Middle East.

Programme Aim
Our aim is to build bridges of respect and cooperation around a common understanding of human rights and responsibilities and to prompt concerted action for solutions to contemporary challenges.

Global Peace Centre
Rights and Humanity is establishing a permanent residential peace centre as a retreat for meetings of up to 30 political, faith, business, women, youth and/or community leaders to build bridges of understanding and multi-stakeholder consensus on strategies for action. We will build an environmentally sound and energy-efficient venue, most probably located in Jordan.
